Online Adult Education Classes for GED/HiSET

Do you want to improve your reading, writing, and math skills or to prepare for the GED/HiSET exams, college, training or improved job opportunities? Then this free of cost opportunity is for you! Bristol Online Adult Education offers flexible options designed to help you meet your goals.
You must be a resident of Massachusetts, Bristol County or be collecting unemployment from the state of Massachusetts to participate.
There are two different types of online classes:
- Online Zoom Classes - these classes are taught live on Zoom by an instructor with other students in the classes.
- Monday through Thursday
- 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
- 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
- Monday through Thursday
- Self-Paced Online Program - You will learn by using online software programs. You will have an online coach to assist you with the program, but the majority of the learning is done on your own time.
Each student receives:
- Personalized Learning Plans
- Technology Assistance
- Basic Computer Skills Course(optional)
- Education Advising
- Career Planning Assistance
- Instructor/Tutor Supports
Students and graduates can access free college courses through our transition to college services.
