GWO Basic Safety Training
GWO BST training will enable participants to support and care for themselves and others working in the industry by possessing the knowledge and skills of first aid, working at heights, manual handling, fire awareness, sea survival and in case of an emergency, to be able to evacuate, rescue and provide appropriate first aid to casualties.
GWO Sea Survival
Participants will learn how to act safely and responsibly and to take the correct preventive actions in all aspects of offshore operations from shore to installation vessel (or WTG) and vice versa. This is both during normal operations and in an offshore wind energy environment emergency.
GWO Advanced Rescue Training
The ART modules shall enable participants to perform entry-type injured person rescue operations, in a WTG, using industry standard rescue equipment, rescue methods and techniques, exceeding those of GWO Working at Height.
GWO Slinger Signaller
with Michael Johnson
The aim of this module is to enable the participant to support and care for themselves and others while working with slinger signalling in the wind industry by possessing the required knowledge, skills, and ability to conduct assigned tasks safely and efficiently.
GWO Basic Safety Training Refresher
To register for this course, participants must hold a valid WINDA certificate for First Aid, Sea Survival, Fire Awareness, Working at Height, and Manual Handling.
The aim of BST-R is to review and build on previously gained knowledge and skills from BST through theoretical and practical training. This BSTR training shall enable participants to support and care for themselves and others working in the industry by possessing the knowledge and skills of first aid, working at heights, manual handling, fire awareness, sea survival and in case of an emergency, to be able to evacuate, rescue and provide appropriate first aid to casualties.
GWO Advanced Rescue Training Refresher
The aim of the ARTR Standard is to review and build on previously gained knowledge and skills from the ART training as well as BST Working at Heights and manual handling training through theoretical and practical training. Hence, enable participants to perform entry-type injured person rescue operations, in a WTG, using industry standard rescue equipment, rescue methods and techniques.
